USB Flash Drives are now a necessity for students and employees, it's a go to gadget for sharing bigger files and accessing it conveniently anytime. Nowadays, it has become more affordable and caters large data storage up to 1TB (1 Terabyte). Imagine how powerful and handy it is to have a 1TB data storage in just a size of a thumb!


Although there are a lot of cheaper brands and types of USB Flash Drives in the market, I still go for the nice brands because it is more durable and reliable.

I purchased this SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive 16GB online, it's more convenient for me than to go to the mall. I made sure that the seller has a high positive feedback and the item won't break during the delivery. I bought SanDisk Ultra Flair 16GB Flash Drive for ₱220, fair price for its design, capacity, and brand.


The design of SanDisk Ultra Flair USB Flash Drive is sleek, professional looking, and it's not too small or not too big. It mainly composed of metal and plastic on the end part, which serves as a lanyard mounting.


SanDisk Ultra Flair has USB 3.0 type of connection which claimed to write and read files faster, the speed is up to 130MB/s. But your computer also need to have USB 3.0 connection type or higher to be able to achieve this speed. However, flash drives with USB 3.0 connection or higher can still work on USB 2.0 connection.


I have been using my SanDisk 16GB Ultra Flair flash drive for a couple of weeks now and it never failed me, it's efficient, sturdy, and handy. The only thing that I don't like is that it tends to become hot or warm when in use over a long period of time because of its metal casing. But overall, it was a great buy and I am satisfied with its performance.

Orient Buko Pie is one of the most famous and best Buko Pie brands that you can buy in Laguna Province, specifically in Los Baños, Laguna. Because of its deliciousness and reputation among local and international tourist, their Buko Pie were sold out just a couple or more hours once they start selling it for the day. 

Why is it it's so famous? Because honestly it's just delicious, simple, you can taste the real flavor of young coconut meat because the sweetness of the pie doesn't overpower the taste of buko, the coconut meat is soft and juicy and the crust is not dry and really yummy. You can eat two slices on your one seating!


We all know that Tagaytay City is one of the jam-packed tourist destinations in the Philippines especially during summer. Horseback riding, zipline, museums, restaurants, parks, food tripping, or just staring at the calmness of Taal Volcano and Lake are some of the things you can do or visit in Tagaytay. You can also buy a lot of pasalubong items in Tagaytay, plants, furniture, souvenir items like magnets or t-shirts, and of course sweet and/or savory food!!! 

Did you know that you can buy Laguna's Best Buko Pie, Orient Buko Pie or The Original Buko Pie in Tagaytay? Yes you can, Orient-The Original Buko Pie Bakeshop has a branch in Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road. We were able to find their branch using Waze & Google Maps when we were in Tagaytay City. A box of Buko Pie from Orient-The Original Buko Pie Bakeshop costs ₱210 and mind you they will serve it to you freshly hot from the oven. 

My Foodie Tip: Be sure to be at their branch before 4PM because you might go there for nothing. Usually all their Buko Pie or Coconut Pie were sold out just before 5PM. They also sell Tropical Pie, a combination of juicy young coconut meat and sweet pineapples, perfect for anyone who's looking for a sweeter version of Buko Pie.

Eurobake Original Inipit of Bulacan

What is Inipit? It's a Filipino cake-like pastry, inipit is a Tagalog/Filipino word which means pressed in between or sandwiched. The sweet filling is sandwiched between two fluffy chiffon-like cakes. And it is known that Inipit is a specialty in the province of Malolos and Guiguinto in Bulacan.


When we think of Inipit, it is always synonymous with Eurobake which is the maker of Original Inipit pastry. I watched in a food magazine show in TV that Eurobake Restaurant & Bakeshop is a family heirloom business that started in 1945 and since then up to now their recipes were still the same. Aside from Inipit, Old Fashioned Ensaymada Malolos is also one of their house specialties.


This box of Eurobake Original Inipit costs ₱275, which has 25 small portions or pieces, it's ₱11 per piece. You can buy it in big box just like this one or a smaller box.

What I love about Eurobake's Inipit is that it has that citrus hint taste on the filling, aside from just being sweet and creamy, it has some twist to offer. The filling is thick, sweet but not that super sugary, creamy, it has a custard-like texture, and a hint of citrus taste. While the chiffon cake/bread is so fluffy with just the right blend of airiness, moisture and sponge-like texture, a little sweet because of the white sugar dusted on top, and it's so soft when you bite it.


You can definitely eat a lot of these yummy Inipit treats in just one seating. My family and I were able to finish a box in just one day!!! So, next time you visit the beautiful and historic province of Bulacan or its nearby provinces like Nueva Ecija or Pampanga, don't forget to drop by at Eurobake Restaurant & Bakeshop to try their Original Inipit and Ensaymada Malolosthat you can share with your family and friends.

The fun-filled program lasted for about 45 minutes, which includes the talk, some games, one song number and photo opp with certified Pigeon Mom Melai. The talk is about how Momshie Melai balances her career and family, motherhood, breastfeeding experiences, and her favorite Pigeon Philippines products.

Nathaniel's Rice Cake

If you are a regular visitor of my blog you'll know by now that I love Kakanin (bibingkang malagkit, suman, pichi-pichi, Christmas bibingka, and many more), it's a variety of Filipino native delicacy that is usually made of glutinous rice or malagkit na bigas, sugar, and coconut milk. It is usually eaten as a snack food or as a dessert.

What I have here now is Nathaniel's Rice Cake or Bibingkang Malagkit. Bibingkang Malagkit is my favorite kakanin of all the kakanins because of its texture and taste. Bibingka Malagkit is made of glutinous or sticky rice cooked in coconut milk and topped with a sweet sauce made of coconut milk and sugar.


We bought this Nathaniel's Bibingka Malagkit in their branch at Ayala Fairview Terraces which is located at the Food Choices, Second Floor. This small size Nathaniel's Rice Cake costs ₱150 and probably good for 2-4 persons. Aside from this filling and delicious native delicacy you can also score different and equally yummy Nathaniel's Bakeshop goodies such as their famous Buko Pandan Salad, Puto Pao, Pichi-Pichi, Brownies, Siomai, Custard Cake, Tarts, Buko Pie, Buko Pandan Juice and many more!


My verdict on this native delicacy version of Nathaniel's... It's good, meticulously prepared, the glutinous rice was cooked well which I like, the texture is a bit chewy/gummy or maligat, the sweet topping is really delectable, the packaging is really nice which is perfect for pasalubong, and the price I think is just right for you are buying delicious, high-quality, and clean food. It's a two thumbs up!!!

BreadTalk Raisin Soft Cheese Toast

Flosss Buns is what probably comes to any Filipinos mind when they think or heard of BreadTalk, I can't argue with that, what's not to like about BreadTalk Flosss Buns. I myself enjoy BreadTalk Flosss buns! However, recently our family became an avid buyer of BreadTalk's Raisin Soft Cheese Toast.


BreadTalk is a Singaporean bakery brand that opened in 2000 and was launched in the Philippines in 2004. It has more than 50 branches in Metro Manila and in the provinces.

We often bought Raisin Soft Cheese Toast at BreadTalk SM City Fairview Branch. This pack of BreadTalk Raisin Soft Cheese Toast costs ₱149.


Why do we love Raisin Soft Cheese Toast? Simply because it is delicious, the soft and perfect combination of sweet raisins and rich cream cheese is so good! It is best to eat as it is, without any spreads or paired with coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Selecta Matcha Ice Cream Christmas Collection

Selecta Matcha Ice Cream is one of the most delicious ice ream I've ever tasted. You can taste the Matcha very well, the texture is very creamy and the sweetness is just perfectly fine. It is so addictive, as a Matcha addict I am very happy that Selecta create something like this, good job Selecta!


The packaging is also very nice, you can feel that the Christmas is just around the corner. This dessert is perfect for Noche Buena. 



Lots of Oreos makes this ice cream so special. I never thought that Oreo and Matcha is a perfect combination. The oreos are still crunchy, it compliments the matcha flavor very well. 

You can buy it for only 250 pesos (1.3 Liter) but if I were you I will buy the largest size because 1.3 Liters will not be enough for you and your family. I will give this ice cream 5/5 stars.

Red Ribbon Cookies and Cream Dedication Cake (READ BEFORE YOU BUY)

Vanilla and chocolate chiffon cake layers filled and covered with delightful cream and real Oreo cookie bits.

The price of the cake is 500 pesos only, excluding the grab payment. 

In my honest opinion, the cake is very mediocre. It is too far from being great, the chocolate dedication cake is much better (not the rainbow color inside). The cake is dry, you wouldn't even recognize that its flavor is cookies and cream if not for the oreo cookies because it tastes like an ordinary cake that you can buy from a small bakery, there is no cookies and cream taste. I love red ribbon but this cake is a flop, the prize is too high for its quality. The design was good but there is nothing more to compliment other than that. I'm too disappointed because I've waited for so long just to buy this cake. 

Overall my grade for this is 1/5 stars. I love red ribbon but I'm just being honest so you won't waste your money for this cake.

Goldilocks Royal Fudge Cake with Toblerone

I will give this cake 4.5/5 stars. It tastes good, the chocolate is overwhelming. The design is paralleled to the taste. It not only look good, it's also amazing. If you're a chocolate lover then this is the cake for you. Good Job Goldilocks!


My only advise is if you have a diabetes then stop eating this because it's really sweet but over all... it's yummy, it's almost perfect.

Kingston DataTraveler 50 Flash Drive

The new kingston 16gb USB flashdrive is very affordable and durable. It is built with hard metal case that provides stronger protection. The only disadvantage is it doesn't have a cap, you must be careful on not putting it on wet surfaces because it may damage the flash drive. 


The design is pretty slick, simple and modern. It's also very light and very good for travelling. 

It is only available in silver color.


Another con of this product is it heats up easily but there is nothing to worry about because I've been using it for hours and nothing bad happened. I will give this product an overall rating of 4.7/5 stars.

Pink Anne Seafood Delight's California Maki

Who doesn't love or crave for California Maki? Sweet, savory, refreshing and filling food literally rolled into one. What's not to love?

A California Maki Platter from Pink Anne Seafood Delight (The Original Maki Store in Fairview since 2012). It's my first time to try Pink Anne's California Maki and it doesn't disappoint me. I ordered it via their Facebook Page, they're fast to respond. It's for my son's 11th Month Birthday along with a simple cake which I will post next.


What I really love about this California Maki are the mangoes and the Japanese mayonnaise. The mangoes are really good quality and sweet. While the Japanese mayo is aunthentic and a lot. It has the right amount of tobiko, the sushi rice is really good, and it has wasabi, soy sauce, kalamansi and chopsticks on the side, so you can eat it anywhere on the go.


The best California Maki on the go or takeout that I have ever tasted, and the most affordable too!!!

Tiramisu Meltdown Cake from Red Ribbon

Probably the best or one of the best round cakes from Red Ribbon Bakeshop! As you all know, my all-time favorite cake from Red Ribbon is Chocolate Mousse. For my top 2 cake, I'm torn between Black Forest Cake and Tiramisu Meltdown Cake!


This super luscious cake consist of moist chocolate chiffon, cream cheese filling, a hint of coffee liquor, and topped with chocolate syrup and shavings. Chocolate plus coffee is unexplainable goodness, but the taste is far from mocha. It's more of the chocolate and cream side! We bought this Tiramisu Meltdown Cake for ₱580 at Red Ribbon Bakeshop Puregold-Deparo Branch. You can also have it delivered via GrabFood for ₱649 (delivery fee not included) or other platform like LalaFood or FoodPanda.

Himalayan Salt Lamp by Chris Ganigan

What is Himalayan Salt or Pink Salt? These are rock salt from the Himalayas and were mostly mined in Pakistan.

It was way back 2015 when I learned about Himalayan Salt or Pink Salt. The health benefits it proposes and its aesthetic appeal captivated me. My first buy is not actually a lamp, it was rock-size pieces of Himalayan Salt that can be used as table centerpieces. I bought it at Dapitan Archade in Quezon City at a cheap price.

Fast forward to 2020, I really want a Himalayan Salt Lamp so I did research and found out there are a lot of fake or low quality Salt Lamp in the market. That's why I opted to go for Himalayan Salt and Light by Chris Ganigan because they were featured on Magazine shows or Talk shows and trusted by many personalities and celebrities.

MerNel's Heart Chocolate Cake

A sweet, simple and "new to us" cake to celebrate this year's Father's Day, MerNel's Medium Heart Chocolate Cake. MerNel's is known as the famous chocolate cake from Los Banos, Laguna.


MerNel's Cakes has been operating since 1996 and who would have thought that this bakeshop started as a small business in a basement of a rented house. MerNel's business name came from Merle & Nelson Balicao, the founder of the bakeshop.


So how come even we're on GCQ I got this heart-shaped cake from Laguna come all the way here in Caloocan City - North? Simple, I saw it in a "PasaBuy" post in Facebook. This Medium Heart Chocolate Cake (6 inches width) costs ₱245 based on their website. I got this for ₱365 plus a delivery fee of ₱62.


My first impression of the cake was... Ohh it's so cute because of its small size. The decor brings back that "childhood feels" when cakes were fashioned with colorful & vibrant icing flowers.


The cake was good, not sweet, spongy cake, the chocolate frosting is luscious, the colorful icing is sweet & sticky, it's like a marshmallow icing. I like it, the cake, icing and frosting textures and taste combines really well. However, it's not that moist, but not airy or super dry. If we're from Laguna this would have been our go-to budget-friendly cake!

World Chocolate Day - Davao Tablea Cake from Wadough's

Can't miss this day to post on my blog, because it's World Chocolate Day today! Happy Chocolate Day to all sweet tooths out there!


Wadough's is a dessert cafe located at Maginhawa St., Quezon City, which started on 2017. They are know for their out-of-the-box pastry ideas. Enough with the formal intro...


This is a slice of Wadough's Davao Tablea Cake which costs ₱130, while a whole 8" cake costs ₱1,200. It's a classic chocolate cake with Wadough's signature Davao Tablea ganache.

This isn't my first time to try Wadough's cakes, the first cake that I tried was their BB Cake or Black Bottom Cake (will post a review of it soon). I opted to post this first because it's World Chocolate Day.


My verdict... It's worth the price and a must try! A classic that real chocolate lovers will love! The cake itself is so chocolately yet not sweet, while the Davao Tablea ganache is so heavenly! The chocolate ganache is thick, super rich dark chocolate, and that velvety texture is "speechless!" It's really worth my money!

Baker's Hill Chocolate Crinkles from Palawan

My sister gave me this sweet treat which is all the way from Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan. She manages to buy it even if it's pandemic thru her officemate which is a local from Palawan.

Baker's Hills in Sta. Monica, Puerto Prinsesa City, Palawan is one of the tourist attractions of the city. I haven't been in Palawan but I know for a fact that tourists flock there because literally the bakeshop is on top of a hill and they have a wide variety of goodies to choose from. 


So without further ado, here's the best chocolate crinkle that I've tasted... Baker's Hill Chocolate Crinkles, it's just perfection! It's simple, not too sweet, has the right amount of chocolate, the taste is "hindi nakakasawa," the texture is really perfect, it's not dry and not that super moist, really it's just perfect! It's really the best Chocolate Crinkle that I had in my entire life!!!


And the best thing about Baker's Hill Chocolate Crinkles is that it's only cheap, ₱70 for a pack which approximately has 20 pieces. The sad thing is we can only buy this great goodie from Palawan. Next time that my sister manage to pasabuy from Palawan, I think I'll horde a big box of Baker's Hill Chocolate Crinkles.

Red Ribbon's Rocky Road Cake

Rocky Road Cake from Red Ribbon is a thumbs up for me! It's our first time to try this and it didn't disappoint us.


My husband surprised me with this playfully-decorated cake from Red Ribbon Bakeshop for my birthday. It's topped with cashew nuts, marshmallows, and cream rosettes with chocolate sauce.


Looks really yummy and decadent right..? This Rocky Road Cake cost ₱600 and it's available in almost all Red Ribbon branches as well as food delivery services such as GrabFood, FoodPanda, LalaFood, and many more.


So what do we have here... Three layers of chocolate cake, chocolate cream filling, with some mallows and cashew nuts. Because of its 3-layer, the cake texture is so soft and light. It's sweet (but who's complaining), the chocolate flavor is good, and it's really creamy because of the cream rosettes on top.

Mini Cakes or Bento Cakes which first gained popularity in South Korea is now also a hot item here in the Philippines. Why not, who can resist these cute, simple, and eye-catching minimalist design cakes? They are perfect for small occasions, good for 1-2 persons, and a really Instagram-worthy cake.

This cute mini cake was given to me by my sister who ships Park Chanyeol of EXO. Honestly, I'm not a K-Pop fan, but I know EXO 'cause my sister is head over heals with them.

It was The Park Chanyeol Day last 11/27/2021, it was his birthday. And there's this Cake Event (on IG) for the said occasion which was organized by eleventwosevenpm. For ₱450 you'll have Park Chanyeol merchandise such as stickers, memo pad, etc. and a Bento Cake from Kaibakes.

This Chanyeol Cake from Kaibakes is a 4" round cake, it has a minimalist design and the flavor is Cookies & Cream.

Here's what Kaibakes Cookies & Cream Bento Cake looks like. It definitely looks so yummy!!! It has a generous amount of buttercream frosting, I'm not sure what type of cake it is but it's not chiffon or sponge cake because the texture is a bit crumbly, and it has a cookies & cream filling. 

Even tough the cake texture is a little crumbly and not that moist, when you take a forkful of it it's not dry. Because it has generous amount of frosting and cookies & cream filling, it balances with the crumbly cake. The cake has only a small amount of sweetness, the buttercream is bit salty, if you aren't a fan of sweet cakes, this is perfect for you.

My husband, our 2-year old boy and me finished this Cookies & Cream Bento Cake in just one seating. It's our first time to try a Mini Cake or Bento Cake or Minimalist Cake, thank you to my sister who gave it to us!
